Track and road cycling

Vuelta Exremadura Femenina

My first ever road race in Spain, and it did not disappoint!

I was worried if my shape was good enough for races in the mountains, but I was pleasantly surpised.
It was my first road race in seven months, and the first race back together with the Torelli team.

Stage one was a 7k TTT, and with only four riders on the team and all of us on road bikes, we knew we would get a hard time, but dispite that, we ended up no. 9.

Stage two was the "flat" stage, with only two climbs. I got over the first climb with the bunch, and over the second on in the second group. We tried to catch the brunch, but most riders in the group didn't want (couldn't) work together, and we ended up riding together to the finish.
Result: 55th

Stage three - The mountain stage.
The legs felt good, but a puncture two km before the second sprint and before riding through the small cities made my race very hard. After chasing for 20 km I finally cought the bunch, unfortunatly onle 2k before the first climb (10 k).
The bunch split up, and I didn't have the power to hold on to the front.
Result: 64th

GP Odense

Francesca and I ended the year 2022 in the best possible way! WE WON!! We won 3 of 4 races, and the overall standing, that also gave them our first UCI victory together.

Everything just went perfect. we had a small tumble in the first race, but nothing serious, and we still managed to win. Team elimination went okay as well, here we ended up third. Flying lap is our specialty, and this race we won! And as a bonus, ww also got a track record in this disciplin as well.

Before the last race we were in the lead with 6 points to number two, and in the last 30 k madison they only build the lead bigger and bigger each sprint. And we could finally cross the finishline as the winners.

4JoursdeGeneve

Francesca and I made it on to the podium! Third place in Geneva, after endless fourth places. An almost perfekt race secured the third plads, and we could jump on the podium and celebrate.

4 jourse deGeneve delivered amazing four days of racing. The first three days with plenty of madison races, UCI races and races which was a part of the three day-race. And the last day was all about the omnium. There was a lot of riders on the startlist, and therefore we needed to qualify for it. Francesca and I both made it to the final.

Fifth place and a big crash in Copenhagen

Francesca and I raced the DBC Ballerup 3 days race the 10-12th november and we did good! We fought for the podium and was placed fourth before the lase case. We tried everything we could, but a crash with 30 laps to go, slowed us down. I hit the boards hard, and Francesca therefore had many laps on her own. When I finally got back up, we just had to fight for fourth place. we lost it, and ended up fifth...

Nevertheless, w eare happy about their races, we've timed the sprint, and improved during every race.
